Our partners are spread across a chain of stages to safeguard land for wildlife: purchasing land, designating land, installing infrastructure, restoring landscapes, and protecting them.
Purchasing land and legally designating it a "protected area" is the first step. Scientific committees are involved to select habitats, and once this has been decided, funds are used to buy land for local conservation projects and push for their protection with local governments. Our partners then work with local communities, authorities, and the scientific community to maintain and ensure the protection status.
